This Eurosport Typhoon came down a little too hard at Aberystwyths
annual RC show.
The Funjet is an agile,
easy to launch plane which can take a wide variety of power
systems. The Funjet is tailor made for upgrading. The model is
intended for experienced model flyers, eg. for pilots who can
handle a Twinjet or similar without a problem.
Multiplex have continued
the tradition of introducing exciting jet style designs with the
latest Funjet.
The model has been designed from the outset to be powered by a
brushless motor and lithium polymer batteries. The model
provides high speed thrills with excellent low speed handling.
The Funjet is controled by
ailerons, elevator and throttle, and aerobatics such as rolls,
inverted flight, loops etc. are all well within its
capabilities.
It fly's well and seems to glide much better than the Twinjet. I
use HS-81 servo's rather than the HS-55 just to be on the safe
side. It launches easier than the TJ, and has no bad torque
issues.
